L am well into the second half of my life with grandchildren and accumulated experience that goes with having worked as a doctor and educator for many years. I will use this blog to reflect on the past, make comments on the present and look into the future. Part diary, part commentary on current events, part poetry, part photo album, part message to grandchildren everywhere. It is also of course a way of meeting kindred spirits so please contact me………
I have always had an enquiring mind and can remember lying on my back aged six or so looking up at the clouds making patterns in the sky. While doing so there was an awareness of something bigger just at the edge of perception. Grasp it and is disappears, look at it and it vanishes, try and make sense of it…………..
I have spent the rest of my life on that quest in one way or another. Sometimes the trail goes through difficult terrain and can be contraversial. One of the earliest fellow travellers I discovered over ten years ago now was The Wanderling. I like the iconaclasm. But the history of the blogger indicates some of the difficulties of the genre.There was confusion between the message and the messanger…………..
